Interview with Teaching Staff
All parents should make an appointment to meet the teacher in September. We have an open door policy but please avoid class time.
There is a Meet & Greet session in the school hall is on second week of term. This is an opportunity for constructive suggestions and to meet fellow parents.
Assembly
Assembly is held on Fridays at 07:15. Each class has a turn of presenting once a term. The class teacher and children will invite you to their assembly. You are welcome at assembly even if it is not your child's turn. Children are allowed to come in mufti/home clothes on the day of their assembly.
Safety
No child may leave the campus without permission from the Head. If a child is to attend a school event outside the campus, a permission note will be sent home for the parents to sign.
School gates are kept closed during school hours for your child's protection. Please use the office gate.
You will be phoned if a stranger to the child attempts to pick them up from school.
Children are of prime importance. We have a registered nurse on the campus. If your child has a minor medical issue you will receive a report. Please avoid sending a sick child to school.
Discipline
We use benevolent discipline whereby your child is rewarded for positive behaviour.
MERITS are awarded for full attendance, correct uniform and prompt arrival. MERITS are also awarded for achievements; playing in a school team, academic achievements, etc.
